Pyroalliance, historical partner of the Ariane and Vega launchers families, releases two new product families securing launcher critical functions adapted to small launchers. This new offer answers the need of newcomers (“new space” actors) seeking reliable, competitive and quickly available solutions to secure their first flights and start as soon as possible the commercial exploitation of their new launchers.
Pyroalliance’s offer is made of two complementary product families, which both gather series of « flight proven » equipment and both offer very fast delivery times.
They address two critical functions of a launcher:
A separation nut is a pyrotechnic hold down & release mechanism which maintains a pre-loaded assembly in place and intact and then, upon an electrical signal, releases the load.
Pyroalliance’s Separation Nuts family SEP&FLY® is dedicated to the Hold and Release function enabled by Separation Nuts for releasing the payloads from dispensers or payload adapters. They have an historical record of a 100% proven reliability.
Pyroalliance’s ability to produce at very high production rate has also been proven on mega-constellation projects, and the product line is made of several available modules making sure that each need finds a solution with the appropriate sizing.
Flight Termination systems provide the mandatory function of safely terminating a vehicle’s flight in the case of malfunction, hazard or deviation.
Pyroalliance’s Flight Termination System family GUARD&FLY® is dedicated to the Flight Termination function which is a mandatory function required to terminate the flight in case of hazard.
The generic architecture has been designed to comply with the most stringent requirements issued by various Space Port authorities.
This architecture encompasses all functions of a complete chain :
SECURIZATION > INITIATION > TRANSMISSION > TERMINAL FUNCTION
and offers a large modularity (different sizes of destruction charge holders can for instance be made available).
