Pyrotechnic Linear Shaped Charge Device (LSCD)
Pyroalliance designs and manufactures specific Linear Shaped Charge Devices for different applications. These products, machined from a linear profile with an initiation port at each end, are dedicated to terminate a mission, sink used motor cases or passivate propellant tanks. With a new generation of copper cutting cord incorporated into the charge holder, Pyroalliance offers lead free solutions compliant with the latest market needs. Those LSCDs, combined with other Pyroalliance’s products, are part of Flight Termination pyrochains. They are embarked on Ariane 6 and Vega-C. More generally, Pyroalliance delivers complete pyrotechnic chains adapted to its customers’ needs. They are designed and manufactured under Pyroalliance design authority.
