Separation solutions for aircraft
Pyroalliance offers a variety of solutions for separation functions on military aircraft. In particular we offer complete pyrotechnic chains for emergency release systems on military aircraft. A typical application is the emergency release of a fuel tank on military helicopters.
We can design complete solutions by designing the entire pyrotechnic chain including detonator, transmission lines and manifolds bringing the signal down to the terminal separation function. In such example the terminal function is ensured by a set of cutting cords which will cut a structure and ensure the emergency release of the tank.
Those components and solutions are designed and manufactured under the deisgn authority of Pyroalliance.
Cutting/fracturing solutions for aircraft
Pyroalliance offers a variety of solutions for cutting / fracturing functions on military aircraft. In particular we offer complete chains as well as elementary components for the emergency canopy severance of military aircraft, whether fighter or training aircraft.
Our multi-application transmission cords are used for their detonating properties to severe the canopy before pilot ejection. We can design complete solutions by designing the entire pyrotechnic chain including detonator, transmission lines and manifolds bringing the signal down to the terminal function.
Those components and solutions are designed and manufactured under the deisgn authority of Pyroalliance.
Actuating solutions for aircraft
Pyroalliance designs and produces a wide range of pyrotechnic actuators like Rams, Pin Pullers and Pin Pushers.
Pin Pullers and Pin Pushers are used on missiles as well as on aircraft. Those are dedicated to maintain the holding position of a mechanism aiming to be deployed or ejected after the pin is activated (for instance helicopter rocket canisters use Pin Pullers as an arming signal confirmation and allow the rocket to be operated once removed). In most cases it will prevent the linear or rotational motion of an object.
All those products are designed and manufactured under Pyroalliance design authority.
Transmission solutions for aircraft
Pyroalliance designs and manufactures several types of pyrotechnic transmission cords with various metallic envelopes, energetic materials, shapes and sizes.
They are further integrated into transmission lines but can also be used because of their detonating features as components of separation, cutting or severance solutions.
